If somebody’s page asks you for your password to see a blog with “adult content,” do NOT type in your information.
It was telling me that my blog was adult content oriented (which it’s not at all) but I put in my information anyway because it seemed legit. My account was hacked by phishing software. This is not an official Tumblr warning as real as it may look. Be aware of this and if you have already come across this, change your password as soon as possible.

Bob Dylan - Sara
Probably one of my all-time favorite Dylan songs. I think I was in tears the first time I heard it (I’m just an emotional person). Dylan has a reputation for being a private and mysterious person but in a rare moment, he came out with this song written for and about his (now former) wife and their perishing relationship. It’s direct and it’s personal and it’s absolutely, devastatingly beautiful.

I’ve been sending a bunch of Beach Boys songs to people on Emotional Bag Check.
Because nothing to make a person feel better than a little touch of Wilson. And because Brian Wilson had so many issues that he wrote songs relating to a lot of issues so it’s easy to find Beach Boys songs that people with issues can relate to.

Now I understand why on-campus movie screenings are free.
Not only do you get a show but you get douchebags in the audience periodically shouting out things resulting in inappropriate audience laughter over which my shushes could not be heard. But whatever, “Drive” was a really good movie, incredibly violent, but it was very well-done and oddly touching. Ryan Gosling was excellent as were Carey Mulligan, Bryan Cranston and friggin Albert Brooks! He was terrifying, who knew that Albert Brooks could be so intimidating? But I think I might want to see it again at some point minus the douchebags in the audience.

It’s completely ridiculous that Shailene Woodley didn’t get an Oscar nomination for The Descendants.
She would have been my pick to win. She at least deserved to be on the ballot over Melissa McCarthy who’s nominated because she crapped in a sink.

Wow, Gabrielle Giffords look great.
It’s so nice to see how she’s recovered.

Jim Rash co-wrote The Descendants?
That is fucking awesome. That means that Community now stars an Oscar nominee as Dean Pelton. Maybe that will keep it on the air.

I don’t think War Horse deserves a ‘best motion picture’ nominee. I thought it was so cliché, and flat at times.
I haven’t seen it though I’ve heard it’s pretty boring. But the four movies that I really wanted to see nominated (Descendants, Tree of Life, Hugo, Midnight in Paris) are there so I’m happy.

Fuck yes, Gary Oldman, nominated for the first time!
I still want Clooney to win but good for Oldman!
But in general I think the acting categories are big disappointments this year.
No Shailene Woodley or Ben Kingsley? Why are Brad Pitt and Jessica Chastain nominated for other movies besides The Tree of Life? Jonah Hill?? Melissa McCarthy???
It’s kind of baffling.
