Hey, Ringo’s new album is actually pretty good.

I’ve been making fun of Ringo a little bit lately for his overly cheery and predictable peace and love solo output but I really like this one, it’s much better than his last few.  It’s not great, it certainly doesn’t match his 1973 album, but I think it works and there are some really good songs.  Though then again, the last new album I listened to before this was Lana Del Rey so really anything might look good next to that.  But for any Beatles fan, it’s definitely worth a listen.
